I should have been back in Sandhurst a week ago but still up here with sick aunt. Things not looking good but maybe not totally hopeless. Sat for hours in coronary care unit. Had to retrieve her car from garage so put my bans on policy. "That'll be 3p to add you to end of period and .....£25 admin fee". Letter to be sent to RAC in due course. They have been ripping her off for years looking at premium of £350 on 2000 reg KA and no claims or convictions.
A week ago she was still driving car and now has lost the plot.. Scary.

Sorry to hear of your aunt's predicament, Phil. It seems to be coming all at once for you. Chin up, fella, we all get old and we all die. She is lucky to have you to do things for her.

It is a sad fact of life that we all have to face, with the advantages of youth all too often lost and wasted by the young.
I'm sorry to hear about your problems as they all seem to be coming all at once. Good on you for taking responsibility and helping, all too often younger generations do nothing. I hope everything works out as well as it can.

Hope things work out alright.
You are right. My dad says "there's nowt to recommend about getting old".
talking with them today, my Mum was talking about the bloke who uses(successfully apparently) WD40 on his dodgy knees.
Mrs V is at this moment talking to an uncle(92) on the phone. He keeps forgetting he is on the phone and going off and doing other things.
