Whilst I am not claiming to approve of this, someone gets 10 out of 10 for Initiative.  :)

Interesting thought ....

If a bunch of kids did something like that it would get called "graffiti" or "vandalism" .....

This has been done for thousands of years on chalk hillsides and very visable with 'ruder' images than this, so what is the problem when it cannot be seen from the ground?  :-?

now if that had been an advert for something like the national trust or London tourism it would have been approved.

The fact that it has a somewhat sexual angle is the real reason why people are getting huffy about it.

I don't see an issue with it

So coming into land from your holiday's at Manchester airport and seeing add's in every field over the Peak disdtict for adds of a sexual nature is ok.  I dont think so

I am totally open minded to most thing's  Airview advertising seems a good one, but not for an escort/dating service.

Maybe i sould have expanded that sentence.....i don't see an issue with this type of advertising

the point i was trying to make was that they council had got the hump over that ad, but would they have reacted the same way if there had been adverts for the examples i gave?

Too true, most people have inbuilt tolerance on what they will accept and this differs from person to person. The advertising method itself is almost as old as the hills (see posts above and the Cerne Abbas Giant) but the content causes people to link acceptability to the method as much as the content. As has been said, was this for the National Trust very few people would have batted an eyelid but something smutty causes 'Angry from Shireland' to break out.

Couldnt disagree more...lets face it only a small amount of passengers have window seats for starters and of those who have a window seat how many would be looking out and of those looking out how many would be offended as opposed too finding it amusing.

That and the fact its for escorting/Dating whats the harm....we all need too earn a living. :y

Lets face it theres some bloke with a huge wanger on display isnt threre.....and lets be honest he"s a big ol boy  ;D ;D
