I'll have you know that Wigan does have a 'pier' but it aint anywhere near that big LOL

I have no idea what landmarks there are around here for me to take a photo against, unless I go up to my sisters and take a picture of Blackpool tower maybe.... :)

Brilliant, I always wanted to visit that bridge, take a Ferry down to the top of Spain, then ride the back up through Spain/Alps/France to Calais.

Last time I drove down to the South of France that was still being build. You could count on Millau taking about an hour to get through on a busy French changeover weekend!

Looks suspiciously like the view across the "panhandle" on the approach to Akrotiri /Ladies Mile Beach  ?? I'm sure I can make out the transit accommodation and the movements terminal ...

Yep, just outside of Saint Marie de la Mer. The build centre left in the background, is the church that dominates the town centre. Being a stone roof, you can pay to go up on it which is great for panoramic views of the area. I had several camping holidays there in the late 1990's early 2000's with my now ex-wife and then young daughter. I was also very fit and the roads are pretty flat, so I used to take my racing bike with me and do about 20 miles every other evening and then 50-70 miles on a Sunday morning. Sadly, I couldn't do that now. ???
