Thought I'd try it on the tablet.
I cleared these codes to see which came back.. No idea why some are red, orange, green.. :-\

I haven't a clue what any (well most of) that livedata means..

from the app details ...
"Fault code status meanings:
red - present
yellow - intermittent
green - not present"
:) :)

aye, Please read the manual

Thanks for that Entwood :)
..But if they are green shouldn't they clear themselves :-\ .. I did clear them with the Erase option manually but some came back as Red/Orange that where green, odd ???.

If you cleared them, then there should be no codes (assuming the thing works properly, and I'd expect this part to work, as its well known how to do it), so the fact that some have reappeared would indeed mean they are intermittent or present, as they have come back.
Simples.

As I understand it .. the ECU "records" any faults detected and has a "priority" type list built in to it ... different faults have different levels of settings (x, y, a) ... but if a fault has occurred "x" times it is a "pending" fault, if it has occurred "x" times within the last "a" cycles - be it starts/minutes/selections whatever, it is an intermittent fault, once it occurs "y" times it is now a "present" fault.
Probably totally wrong.. but that's how I understand it .. :)

Thanks for the clarification :y
Anyone know what the live data should be like on a reasonably healthy 3.2 Omega by any chance that could look over mine above ? :)

Unfortunately you have NOT published useful "live data" .. as the engine is not running !!
This is easily seen as the fuel pump is OFF, the RPM is zero, the Mass Air flow is zero and the 02 loop is "inactive" ....
IMHO "live data" means .. "engine running data" ... but that's just me .. :)

Engine was running at idle see coolant temperature 54c, When revved the RPM, Mass meter etc. where 0..

Well the data received reckons the engine was stopped ... or your bluetooth device ( I assume an ELM327) is not talking to the phone correctly .. if it's a "cheap and cheerful" chinese one then many of them are not too good.
I went by the RPM=0 and assumed (wrongly) that the coolant temperature was residual ... as a "normal" running temp is around 85 degrees

No worries I see how it could be mistaken for being off, Car had only been running for 5-10min roughly, Not used it today..
The Bluetooth adapter is this one . Supper Mini Bluetooth Car Code Reader Compatible with Android / Droid / Torque Support OBD2 OBD II ELM327 Power 2 - Blue by Elandpower http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B009NPAORC/ref=cm_sw_r_udp_awd_A31mtb0N431B7

Reading the advert ... instant question .. what version of Android are you using ???
The advert says it won't work with Android 4.0 and up ...... so check which version the tablet is using ..

4.2.2 on the Asus tablet.
Reading a few reviews they are generally good..
"Excellent product, worked fine straight out of the packet. Although the description notes it does not work with Android 4.0 or higher, this is not the case, at least with me. I used it successfully with my Samsung Galaxy S2 and the Torque app running on Android 4.1. Very useful device.
Definitely worth spending an extra few pennies to get this model."

Can't answer that one then .. might be worth downloading the "Torque" app .. the "lite" one is free and seeing if that gives anything different. I use "Torque Pro" and get pretty good live data, but can only do engine stuff ...

I'll re-download that app...
I did have the "Torque Pro" before i had to reset my tablet and remember the RPM did work on that, Just thought the Scan My Opel would be better for Opels/Vauxhalls

Which interface adaptor do you use?

Looks like there may be a fault somewhere, mine shows 0 RPM in the engine module whilst running but shows fine when in the AT module.
-
Just a thought, There is a possibility there may be a slight leak around the manifolds or even where the cat section joins the single outlet custom exhaust, Would these possibly be causing those fuel trim / O2 sensor error codes ?

Sorry missed it, cheers for link. Good price will get one of those :y

I think this app is still very much work in progress, and has lots of flaws still.
Accept that its currently barely functional, but hopefully with the potential to be better in the future, and you won't be disappointed :)
Additionally, some of the poorer (ie, the cheap Chinese tat clones) implementations of the hardware are also a bit flakey (and that's being kind!).
-
I have noticed that mine seems to read zero RPM from the engine ECU but the correct RPM from the gearbox ECU ???
There was rapid development a few months ago but I haven't seen any progress that benefits the Omega recently :-\

I wish i knew how to read/understand this live data, From the live date in the screen snap pictures above does everything seem OK?.. I just wan't to put my mind at rest.. Car is running fine, Power is there when needed, Idles fine, Starts first time.. Don't use it every day so it does stand for a few day up to a week sometimes... But when I do use it its usually for 100+ miles..

I suspect that a number of the items that are either on/off 0/1 active/inactive are reading the wrong way round. Variables (numbers) seem to be more reliable (ignoring engine RPM ::))
I don't imagine that either of your engine warning lights are lit but there is a line reading "Malfunction indicator" "on".
I have noticed that the "sport button" is normally "active" on mine but "inactive" when I press it ???
The developer does ask for people to send him logs if they notice a problem so he can improve the software. I haven't (yet) because I haven't worked out how to do it :-[

There are 3 bulbs (EML, Main Beam, Right Side Background Illumination) that i'm aware of that are fused/missing, Trying to find time to take the dash out to do this..there's also a rattling sound behind there which does sound like a small glass type bulb that's causing this only now and then on a rough surface road...

With two flat bladed instruments (not too sharp) (to pop the centre air vents out) and a Philips screwdriver you can have the instrument cluster out in about 5 minutes.

Thought I'd hook it up again today, Some seem to have cleared them selfs too :y

Why don't you put the bulb back in, and have a clear car?
