Is it correct that ive heard you can now change this at the postoffice rather than a local Dvla office.  :-\

I've had no problem in changing my car and bike from PLG/Bicycle to Disabled over the counter at the Post Office, so I can't see why you wouldn't be able to reverse the process.

That way was always dead easy, changing back was always a nightmare (and I could never work out why!)  which required a trip to the DVLA office

About time, to me it should have been harder to get the disabled tax exemption than to remove it and it should have automaticaly reverted to standard on owner change.

Yep, I bought an ex-motability car a couple of years ago at auction and I couldn't believe that hassle I had to go through to tax the damn thing!  :o  ::)

At the beginning of the year we had the dilemma of which car to tax as disabled class, the Mig or Seat Leon.
Didn't take me long to decide that one  :y

John I think you can only do it at counters that sell road tax as they don't all sell tax :y
