I'm getting the feeling that 'The Battlebus' is growing on TB. ::) ;)

Ventilation is usualy ok on them, check the pollen filter and check that the recirc dome is operating ok and not stuck open.
Also, getting your aircon working would help to.

Can you remember if the housing closed with 5 clips, or 3 clips and 2 locking mechanisms?

No worries, I'll have to strip it down, then buy the filter. One is £18+VAT, other is half that! (TC price)

You have the cheap one as you dont have climate control.
And never needed sealent on any of them.
Although its a pain with having to remove the glove box and mess with spring clips.

Yup, no climate, despite supposedly being top of the range model. I don't think climate became an option until 2003/4 when it was slightly facelifted.
For a top of range model, Mrs TB does complain it lacks buttons to play with... ...although its grown on her more than me :P

Not many toys to play with, although mine did have the rear sunroof option fitted which was good when front sunroof was wound back and the rear when opened stopped the buffering ;D
