Title: What is under boot liner?

We recently got a 01 Omega Saloon cdti 2.2. The boot lining is filthy and when I took it out I noticed two circular plates with access to I dont know what?! WHat is it???

Largish plate in centre covers the fuel pump cover plate

One will be fuel tank access :y tother :-\
