Title: Omega FL Instrument Panel Bulbs..
Post by: Mr.OmegaMan on 01 April 2014, 23:40:51: ..My local VX dealers haven't a clue what type the Omega have and want me to remove the fused bulbs and bring them in so they can order, Which is not happening, Why this is so complicated for them is beyond me... >:(

Can someone provide me with the name of the bulbs and all the different types.. or eBay links etc.

I need one main beam, EML, and right side background illumination bulb..

This would be much appreciated, VX are driving me crazy..

Drive to the dealer, dump it in the middle of the forecourt and pop the cluster out. Refuse to move the car until the cluster is refitted. Might learn the parts bloke to be less retarded ::)

There is a snag...The new 3W ( http://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk/505-3W/ ) background illumination bulbs unfortunately seem too weak, very dim in comparison to what they where like.. Maybe i need 2W :-\

Goes without saying ::) .. If i dim it all the way down they are almost off no light at all...

Yea, that would do it, works out as the same as 1.5 W, probably less as the heater elements probably not running to spec.

Pretty much all of the bulbs are Osram, Where these the brand fitted new ?
