I picked Colbert Station out of the hat, so I don't expect to win anything.  :'( :'(

Apparently it does quite well without a jockey though.  ::) ;D

Balthazar King , Double Seven and my baby slapped the iPad and picked The Rainbow Hunter. £2.50 e.w on each of them.
The nationals the only horse race I bet on.

My brother lives in Aintree. They close off all the side streets for a week before the race and he can't even get a taxi home after a night out, he has to stagger the last mile or so.

Is there any chance of Red Rum making it win number 4?..... :)

I only bet once a year and on the Grand National, just for added interest. We've had a fiver win, with mine being Balthazar King, while SWMBO picked Mr Moonshine. A tenner down the pan but it adds to to the fun of the tradition. :y
