Title: M500 JFC has gone to a new home.
Post by: Field Marshal Dr. Opti on 05 April 2014, 12:33:20
A very nice couple have just left for Loughborough and seem extremely pleased with their new purchase. :y

For my part, I'm £6350 the richer :y :y.......except, I'm not actually, the f**king taxman is....sob....sob :'( :'(

Of course, I've had to make it up with my wonderful  MV6  :-* :-* :-*......she quite rightly feels wounded, abandoned, and generally unloved.  :'(

I've assured her that I shall never again be seduced by the 'creamy torque filled thighs' of the big-titted german fraulein. ::) ::) ;D

A very short affair, Opti, I hope you've learned your lesson.

In your line of work, can you claim tax relief for car maintenance/repairs? If so, you'll have your money back in no time.  :)

Yes. I'm now looking for a Daewoo to fill the void. :)

No more Chevys, I'm afraid, all snapped up by discerning buyers. However, I might be open to offers.

Ah, I see. So in that respect Daewoo are just like a Zonda, Aston Martin, and Bugatti. :)

From Paris to St Tropez and the exotic far East, with a licence to kill, a cool sophisticated manner with a hint of danger and drives an Aston Martin, the Zonda for a discerning owner looking for rarity and performance from the Modena maestros at Pagani who produce the ultimate Italian supercars, for those where price is no object they want the best in life and their car's performance with a price no object, that is the Bugatti owner, retired from Wakefield for shopping trips to Morrisons, walking the dog and mucky liaisons in the Reading suburb of Woking ham drives a Daewoo.

The latter owner just doesn't seem to quite fit with the first three, Lord Opti. ::) :o :-[ :P ;D ;D ;D

The grief you people go through to retain an unreliable, outdated piece of GM memorabilia. Buy a new GM, one with a proper badge on the front.

Remember the sequence, it has to be:
Ign On
Radio Off
Press and hold AS, and turn Radio on

(ie, the ign has to be on BEFORE turning radio on).

If you're getting to point of entering code, but its not accepted, then its the wrong code

That's usually a sign of pressing and holding AS, and turning ign on to turn radio on.

Before you start, the ign needs to be on, and the radio needs to be off. That is critical.

If you have already entered a code, and it didn't accept it, you may also be in a wait period.

I had a tax bill like that many moons ago......my accountant advised me the best way to pay it....and that was take out a personal loan for £12k....then lend the money to my company.....at a ridiculous interest rate....summat to with being tax deductable and payments to me for loan repayments with huge interest, not being taxable.....i didnt pay anyway near the £12k bill (well i did, but got loads of tax free cash out the company instead, if you see what i mean).

Helps when your accountant is yer bro  :y
