Title: 3.0 elite cam covers

Hello just got my car back from paint shop and she looks great.Anyhow could someone advise me if the alloy rocker covers off a 2.5 v6 vectra engine would make a replacement for my 3.0 v6 plastic rocker covers as mine are starting to leak yet again.Many thanks

they do fit but access to filler is restricted if not impossible to use

Have you cleaned the breather's , it will keep blowing the seals if they are blocked

Yes, they can be fitted, but its a bodge IMHO.

They will stop camcovers leaking.  Ever noticed how Vectra V6s have more crank seal failures though? The 2 are linked ;)


I'd recommend a full breath clean, and correct replacement of the gaskets.

Thanks for your help on this i will check the breathers are clean first before i try anything else .
