I have 1998 opel omega 2.0 16V 100kw and i would like to do engine swap. New engine would be 3.0 V6 155 kw.
Some say that the 2.0 manual gearbox fits with 3.0 also. Is it true?
If i replace the engine and gearbox will be the R30 (from 2.2DTI 88 kw, which is facelifted). Will it work?
Or is it cheaper and easier to put a turbo on 2.0? And what turbo then?

Probably cheaper and easier just to buy a 3.0 complete car. Less hassle :y

Turbo from an Astra GSI might do the job :y
Be easier to deal with plumbing instead of electrics :-\

you can use c20let parts for turbo application.. and likely you may need to alter/remap/change ecu.. stock ecu is mapped towards economy..
and R25 box (getrag 240) will be enough in most cases unless you boost above 1.2-1.3 bar

the V6 will bolt to your current transmission
