... imagine my surprise when I received an email from our 'head man' personally thanking me for my patience and understanding, whilst sorting the travel requirements of a young Scout group and their leaders a week ago, aboard my Barry Island-bound train.
An exceedingly nice gesture on the part of the Scout leaders, who enjoyed their first trip by train.
Great too, that 'the man at the top' ensured that I was made aware of their praise and satisfaction.
I'm approaching 16 years service now, and this is the first time that I've been furnished with such a nice missive.
"All in a day's work" boyo! :y

The bosses of today don't seem to appreciate today just how much a 'pat on the back' helps with the daily grind!!

Well Done Seth! A richly deserved pat on the back! :y You say "All in a days work", but sadly this is now the exception rather than the rule :(
