What are the lowest Torque wrench settings on the Omega?
I have an old 20 - 140Nm wrench 1/2 drive. I was thinking I should buy a smaller one for the bolts that are below 20Nm. Any recommendations on what one to get? The cheaper the better.

Ime a range from 8nm for cam cover bolts, up to 320nm for wheel bearings is needed.
Halfords do a 60 to 300nm t wrench that will take the extra 20nm wound onto the dial.
So that just leaves the 8nm to 60 range to cover. So anything that goes down to 8nm will do.
Its possible then to get away with two torque wrenches for the omega. Where as three would be required if its wasn't for the Halfords 300nm wrench.

As above 8Nm for Cam covers, I've got Halfords 8-60Nm & 60-300Nm, both have been really reliable and there are considerable savings if you buy them with a Halfords trade card :y

The Halfords ones do have a draw back, in that they don't have a reversible ratchet. Instead they have a push through drive which involves removing the socket, which often means the socket pulls the square drive out. Its a bit of a faf with heavy use.
But given the cost of alternative wrenches and the need for three wrenches to cover that range it's an annoyance worth living with.
I much prefer my laser wrench with a switchable ratchet given as a gift. But it gets zero use as the range its range is least used. Not to mention its in ft.lbs. with the faf of conversions.

Had a look at the Halfords 8-60Nm very well made and I like it. I will have to see whats in the piggy bank though. Wish I had a Halfords trade card. :(
Thanks both for the info and advice. :y

Just had a read up about the Halfords trade card and with the amount of receipts I have here I should be able to get one. :y

I bought a sealy 6nm to 120nm off eBay a few years back for about £35ish and it's paid for it"s self a hundred times over :y

I had to purchase the Halfords one yesterday to get the head back on and although not cheap it is really excellent. :y

I went to get a club card from Halfords using all the receipts I have here from the last 3 months and was told no I can't have one because they have stopped doing the card for the home diy mechanic. :(
Had a look and it is no longer in there list to qualify.
