Thats one of those things that tends to happen once, you keep a suprisingly strong grip on it the next time  ;D

Jack & Axle Stand is all I use

Im doing an oil change at the moment on axle stands, just waiting for the oil to drain.

but does your oil catcher not get stuck in the plastic under pan when you lower the car to get it level :question

Kinda just clears it, you could always get a shallower catcher

I use on of these after seeing Mark use one

http://www.machinemart.co.uk/shop/product/details/14-litre-oil-drain-pan

Dont spill a drop, big enough and strong enough for all drainage jobs

Coolant / Oil / ATF

and a nice spout to drain from afterwards, cos when I used to use an old washing up bowl, took me longer clearing up spilled oil than the change did

Take the oil catcher from under the car before you take it off the axel stand :y
