I've changed both coil packs for new bosh ones. Replaced spark plugs for bosh super plus 4 prongs.
Now car is miss fireing worse than ever? The engine management light is on constant and flash when I boot it. Tho it accelarats well but idles poor and splutters when I start to pull away.
Any idears on what else I could replace of is it possible that a coil could be faulty from manufacture.
Did the pedal trick and it's 10 3 10 10 (random miss fire)
Can I reset codes using pedal trick?
Thanks

any oil down the plug holes?

No oil, but there was last month and had the gaskets changed.

Seems odd that there are no useful codes :-\
The quickest way of solving the issue would be to get someone with Tech2 to look at the live readings & fuel trims to see what is amiss.
Might be worth unplugging the MAF to see if it runs any better with it disconnected - (sometimes the MAF gives incorrect readings without flagging up a code, unplugging it does bring up a code but also forces the ECU to run in limp home mode and use factory fuel settings)

Check connections on coil packs, did you use new rubber boots on them?
-
Have a very good look at the vac pipes at the front of the engine, if one is disconnected it can cause mayhem

What a numpty :-[
As I was being lazy and couldn't be bothered to remove the fuel pipes, I squeezed the coil packs in and one of the rubbers got stuck and missed cyl 5 spark plug. I've now made the effort to remove the fuel pipes and refitted the pack and all running really well now.
Had a mate reset codes and check all is running well 😃
Thanks for all the suggestions but this time it was me being a numpty.
