Title: Norwich /Liverpool
Post by: powerslinky on 20 April 2014, 09:10:24
So after last nights result going in our favour , all be it with a "dodgy" pen  :-[ :-[

Today LFC have the chance to put daylight between them & the other 2

None of these last four games are gonna be easy Norwich are fighting for their lives , Chelsea have to beat us now ,

Palace seem to be on a roll & are beating everyone they play & Newcastle can't win a game at the moment so probably will.

I'm sure there will be yet another twist before the end & the winners are decided :-\ :-\

Game at time lads, starting today  . .   lets hope they just come out of the traps with full on attack as they have been &

not try to win "ugly".

So good luck to the Reds &  Please , please Mr. Rodgers  . . . don't start that useless  tos**r JOE ALLEN  :'( :'( :'(

Reminder for Stemo . .  don't forget Steve it kicks off at 12 noon

Suarez is a thoroughly dislikable footballer. Cheating and feigning injury at every opportunity. Brendan Rodgers shows a managerial weakness by not sorting that side of Suarez's game out.

If someone comes in with the right money, it wont be his problem  next season.

Real Madrid are plotting a record-breaking £90m bid for Liverpool striker Luis Suarez, 27, in the summer. Today's papers are saying.

The work has already started on the new pool with high & low level boards ready to enhance the diving technique ;D ;D

Tom Daley has been approached to be his mentor so I heard  , , ;D ;D ;D ;D

More like £90 million  + another 25 grand to get his "teef" fixed ;D ;D ;D ;D

If Liverpool win the premier, I can see Steve Gerrard retiring after the world cup

Aye, I would. My wee team, Dumbarton are small enough to kick cheats like him out. In the big money world of the EPL, things are a bit different.

I think it's disgusting the way players will go down if they're even touched in the penalty box.  >:(

Watching MOTD over the weekend there were some shocking dives and even the commentators try to justify it sometimes by saying things like 'He was entitled to go down there'  >:(  It should be a sending off offence IMO because after all it's cheating!!  ::)  A few red cards to the likes of Rooney or Gerrard might encourage them all to stay on their feet!!  ::)

Lets be honest here, ALL players go down if you give them a hard stare now days  :(
Some are better at getting away with it more then others  >:(

If a player is;
Fouled and plays on regardless with the ball, he may get a free kick when he doesn't want it.
Fouled and stays on his feet, he might very well not be awarded a free kick or penalty.
If a player is fouled, and wants a free kick for it, he therefor has to go down.

It makes the intention clear to the ref. if the player goes down he wants the free kick or penalty awarded. Assuming the ref agrees there is a foul in the first place of course.

Players will take advantage of that though, especially in the penalty box. Diving should be a red card IMO. But...

That's the game. :)

Errrrm I think errrrm that Gerrard errrrm falls over errrrm quite easily errrrm with the best errrrm of them!  ::)

Some call it 'Gamesmanship' I call it cheating!  >:(  The only time a player should go down is when he literally can't stay on his feet due to being fouled! Not because he is touched or wants to attract attention!  ::)

I await the usual litany of excuses of why cheating is acceptable in the modern game!  ::)  ;D
