Title: Easter Dinner

Having a Lamb roast dinner today with all the trimmings  :o First time we have had lamb for a good few years so looking forward to smothering it with mint sauce  :D
What you having for your easter dinner ?

Lamb which i have left over from the other day,roast chicken,mash,roast potatoes,yorkshire puds,peas and gravy ummmmm

Same her ,but prefer mint jelly,peas new pots and some asparagus.

Apple pie and cream for pud :y

We have just had Roast leg of Scottish lamb with roast squash, cabbage, carrots, mash and home made mint sauce. Nice Rioja.

Nothing remarkable there? Well Mrs V brought it home from Scotland Tesco last year. Spanish lamb is flavoursome BUT legs look like English FRONT legs. No grass here I suppose.

an awful lot of lamb is exported to Europe as they cant get the same quality as British,NZ, or Auz.
there use to be a lot of live export till the veggie,tree dogooders started to cry. >:(

We've got baa ba,and moo cow, with babbage and carrots with collie fluers and rroastees. Mmmm. :y

Three bird roast here and all the trimmings....luvvly jubbly :been on a diet for months and it was getting boring ::)

Rack of local farm lamb, with redcurrant gravy. Accompanied with Jersey Royals, carrots, peas and Hispi cabbage with a nice Merlot. :y

No shortage of Lambs done here..Romney Marsh is alive with them  ;D

Prefer an softer wine than Merlot with Lamb ,so have a nice Rose gently chilling in the fridge as we are eating around 6.00 tonight as heavy from lunch snack of chocolate birds nest cake ;) :)

Chicken, roast spuds, peas, sweet corn, carrots and stuff in lovely it was now waiting for that lot to go down and it's apple crumble with custard for pudding :y

Just back from an enjoyable day at my daughters with her partner and the grandchildren. :y :y :y

Enjoyed watching the grand children running round the house, hunting the easter eggs. :y :y :y

Had a great easter lunch of roast beef, yorkshire pudding, peas, carrots, broccoli, parsnips, leeks in a cheese sauce and roast spuds, washed down with a glass of wine and fruit strudel and custard for pudding. :y :y :y
