Been clearing the garden up....lots of pruning.....ended up with a big heap and still got loads to prune/cut down.
Ive been wondering over the weekend how to get rid of it....seeing as the council now charge £40/yr for a green wheelie bin that gets emptied once fortnight....at that rate it'll take until christmas to get rid of the stuff.
Skip? That'll be the best part of £150....
Garden waste removal services....around £250 id guess
I know....burn it! :y
Off to B&Q (only diy shop that seems to be open today) to buy an incinerator.... £20 :y
Gets back home to find next door neighbour has just put washing on her line :(
I'll wait until 6pm, (local bylaw prohibits bonfires before 6pm) then knock on her door and politely inform her im about to light a bonfire :y
Well thats tea break over with.....back to the garden now :y

Our brown wheelie bin gets emptied once a fortnight too, but is part of a set of four provided by the council. What doesn't go/fit in the brown bin goes over the fence ;D

We live in a no smoke zone , guessing that burning rubbish is illegal :-\ although next door does burn garden waste late at night .

Iirc that included burning late at night, can be done for it if reported to council :y

Can you not bag it up and take it to your local recycling centre?
