We where just saying, in our canteen, that we don't celebrate St George's day enough.

Can't say the same of the Irish can we. We all know when it's St Patricks day, they're all staggering around in the street. ;D

Nottingham Council House in the Old Market Square has an enormous cross of St George flag hanging over the front of the building. :y :y :y

Thanks, minifreek; I've stolen your flag for my desktop background, with a nice "true-blue" border round it!
What a pity that the English flag has been taken over and abused by football hooligans: to display it today would have you considered to be one of them......

Just to add our local Asian Corner Shop (fairly sure there Muslins) have got the Flags out and are doing special promos on Beers today.  :y

Thought that was a nice touch, and better than what my local Pub is doing, nothing.  ::)
