I watched a report this morning on French TV about a machine which cools canned and bottled drinks quickly. The French were very impressed with what us Rosbifs had managed to come up with as a means of energy efficient and rapid cooling. It was then I remembered that Mr DTM had mentionned at Newent that he had been working on this.
Chapeau, mon ami :y

Mr Kelvin Hall no less I assume of Enviro-cool, I seem to recall it being called 'Vortex' or 'V-tex', was developed thanks to EC funding under the name Rapidcool.
Heinekin were very onboard with this when I left. :y

That's right. His french was pretty good, but if he has any EC cash left I can offer him some very reasonable french lessons ;D
Heineken cans were used for the demo.... ::)

Oh, dear! If only he'd been able to find some beer. ::) Still, i've heard it does the compost heap some good. Not sure if it matters if it's cold, though. :-\

I must confess to having a few bottles in my fridge and one with me for my flight home tonight. When one is desperate one must. Finding decent beer here is like finding decent wine in the UK (rare and expensive)
When questioned by my colleagues why I have a bottle of beer or the way home I responded "I need something watery and full of sugar to rehydrate with after all this coffee, this shit is adequate" Talk about lead balloons......... ;D

Some would also say finding decent wine in France these days is a challenge ;D

The weight of my bag and last night's hangover would suggest otherwise ;-)

Fixed.
Not that I care, as I'm not a lady
