Apparently that is the value of a Mk1 Escort identity :o
-
£24,500 was my limit . . . . so just missed out :'( :'( :'( ;D ;D ;D
weird is the word that comes to mind ??? ???

This is a wind up, right. ???

A fully mint mk1 twinky,is for sale in a well known car publication for £62,500. Yes £62,500
but that advert is technically, making you break the law by ringing,or making up a new bodyshell and fitting it with the right numbers, which is very common in the classic car world, buyer bewere of history, brings to mind the story of "old no1"

Or stealing one, common with Mini and Landrover, why else would you buy a vehicles identity? It shouldn't be allowed, I have seen logbooks for sale with engine / chassis numbers on ebay and about 30 years or so ago a lot of Army Land Rovers went missing, over a period of time, apparently............ >:( >:(

Yes we know its naughty, but there are bodyshells out there without V5 that need a registration to survive, and a Q plate doesn't look right right on some ol banger's,,also keeps them on the road,
its technically legal ringing, :)
