Fellow member Ianu is probably the man to speak to. He's done a bit of off-roading.  :y

cheapest way is to join a 4x4 group (F.O.G for you ) and they run off road pay and play and green lane trips and all it costs is a tank of fuel

tbh if you go green laning there is always enough experience to teach the right way...one thing I will say is NEVER go alone  :y

another way is to join your local 4x4 response group as they run off road courses only prob is you do have to volunteer

Hi, You seem to be near the bedfordshire area - google "Devils Pit" they are near Barton and have a good reputation on Landy Zone and have various courses you can try and plenty of help available if it goes wrong, I was going to take my Range Rover off roading up there but that went against my OCD on keeping my cars spotless :)

Hope that helps

Darren.

If you go out with a decent crowd  of experience members they will keep you right ,  i used to offroad in a frontera sport  2.0  with a set of muds i kept upwith the landies  i am in a an offroad club    i learned as i went    now own  isuzu`s  at  ok if it a grass fielld or bit of lanning but if you gonna do offroading  you will need mud tyres.
