Title: new omega owner
Post by: firemoth on 18 May 2014, 22:19:20
Just agreed a deal on my new car this evening. A Y reg 2.2dti CDX estate. Seems in good nick. Can't fault it. Mot October, tax September, 133k, Towbar, £675. First time to have an omega and my first rear wheel drive (always wanted one!)

Had Astra's in the past which I really liked, but I've got a 1500kg caravan so need something that can tow it comfortably. So to me, it's like a big astra :)

Don't pick it up till Saturday but looking forward to it!

Any hints or tips for "playing with it" a bit welcome :D

Welcome to the site. The DTIs are reasonably robust, but prone to intakes getting gummed up due to poor servicing. The VP44 pump electronic problems are well known.

Other than that, normal Omega stuff.
