Title: Vauxhall Opel tech 2 OBD opions wanted.

Just been browsing ebay and found this....looked at the feedback and looks ok,just wondering if anyone has any expeirence of these.

I noticed he does say Please note some codes descriptoins may not  be english

So whats your thoughts guys...£30 well spent or just plastic tat. :-/

Very useful piece of kit.
Well worth £30 imho

make sure you have a laptop with a real serial port to use it though, making it work with a USB adaptor can be even more flaky.

It is not the most reliable piece of kit in the world, and a lot of it is hungarian, usable though, Mark has improved the files with it so a lot more complete than it used to be.

Mine has paid for itself many times over!

It wont read all the car systems, but should read some, ie Engine, Airbag etc, reads and resets codes.
Stangely mine reads far more on the fater in laws vectra than it does on the meega's  talks to his climate and allsorts!

seems to be a bit luck of the draw how well it works for you.
