Title: Power steering leak
Post by: Andy A on 27 May 2014, 08:25:50
I have what looks like a power steering leak. See photo's. Can all this fluid have come from the reservoir pipe with the jubilee clip on or does it look more serous than that?

Any help would be appreciated.

That`s where most of them leak Andy

Probably the jubilee round that top pipe. Not sure why they don't use hose clips like everywhere else on the engine. As jubilees always leak eventually.

Ok lads, I'll put a new hose clip on, wipe everything down and keep an eye on it.  :y

I didn't realise that the jubilee clip was put there from new.  :o All the ones I've seen in the past are crimp on.

Hmmm, you might be right.

Might be worth checking the reservoir isn't cracked while there. It's only plastic.
