Amazing what they will knock off the price when they feel like it >:( Quoted me one price then after half an hour of banter he talked to his supervisor and gave me the insurance £150 cheaper ??? His first words were sorry sir we cant do it any cheaper >:( How do they get away with it :( Some poor unsuspecting people will just accept their first quote and pay it :(

My Omega insurance has been in the £150-£200 range for as long as I can remember.
How much did they sting you for, Mr Emd?

Compulsory excess £100 and ncb protected, which is better than my present insurers Privilege who wanted to charge me £36.00 to protect my ncb ::) When I told them to place this years renewal in a body orifice of their choice and that will be the response when the renewal comes in for the three other cars on risk with them, in addition to the house insurance. The guy then said that he would get the customer loyalty team to speak to me,but for me the damage was done and I declined the offer on the basis that I don't need the hassle of negotiating a better deal with them every year just because they are trying to scam their established customers. So the long and short of it Privilege £256 or Admiral £177......ermm!! Privilege's total business loss from us..around £1400,obviously they don't give a s**t and so we move on and if Admiral try the same scam next year I'll be shopping around again >:(

These companies should be reported for scamming >:( I expect most people just accept the price they offer and take their word thats its the best price :(

I think I do quite well, considering my postcode is listed between "Beirut" and "Columbia" in terms of risk... mine comes in about £500 for the year, and I'm only a young'un...
