Is this 13277003 the correct part number for the High Pressure valve for a 3.2 FL saloon ?
Was informed it's leaking from there. Typical it chooses to piss it all out when it's hot ::)

If someone could confirm or provide me with the current part number tonight please, Ideally a part number that any VX dealer would recognise as I've given part numbers to them in the past which they know diddly squat about.. Failing that VX are of no use, Can they only be bought new from VX or is there another source..
As for changing the valve... 17mm and 15mm spanners required, Hold the base with the 17mm.. Something like this the procedure if I'm correct.
Also, Has anyone had the valve replaced at a VX dealer, Just curious as to how much they would charge or do they insist on changing the pipe as well ?

13277003 is the correct part number which replaces the original part 52458177. I bought one last week for my car but am still struggling to fit it at present as 15mm socket does not fit mine, good luck with yours.

Supply the part and ask whoever does the A/C regas to change it... ...assuming they are not mongrels.
The A/C needs to be fully discharged first, and the do-gooders will complain about the trees and rising sea waters if you discharge it yourself into the atmosphere. If you do discharge it yourself, be aware that you risk extreme burns if you are not careful.

Just a thought, Would one of those free A/C checks be a way to empty the system if they won't change the valve them selfs :-\
(EDIT: there cant be much stuff left in the system if it's not cold/cool surely :-\ .. I stuck a digital thermometer in the vent when it was around 20c outside and the A/C was blowing apparently 22c )

if with the climate panel set to LO and engine running look at commpresor if its spinning it has gas, not spinning its empty.
yes you could go to the free aircon check places you have nothing to lose its free.
crap-fit offer the best deal not colder no charge, but they probablly try to sell you some tyres ;D

the valve can be removed and cleaned with brake cleaner,they gum up with a/c dye and refrigerant. :y
also the lp valve's are prone to leaking, but these are a standard tyre core valve,which you replace using a tyre core tool, :y

I had ShitFit regas one of mine about 4 times over a 3 month period. Then took it to someone who knew what they were doing, and it lasted ages (until the compressor disintegrated ;D)

Aye it is spinning..
Some progress today, Called VX and they where able to find the valve with the part number, Should get it on Wednesday and been in contact with ATS and they can change the valve and fill the A/C at the same time, Used them for years same lads worked there for years always helpful.
Hopefully that's that and the next update will be that it's working rather than something else wrong with the A/C .. Well here's hoping nothing else goes wrong, Then again we are taking about Omega's ;D

Finally changed the valve, The old one the green ring part of it was broken, That would explain the leak. Hopefully after a re-gas that's it....

I had one of these and it fits the High Pressure valve like a glove.

Had the A/C refilled at ATS for no extra charges, Said there wasn't any sign of any leaks, Hopefully it stays that way :y

By the way what temperature should be blowing out the vents set at LO when its around 18c outside ?
I tested mine once home with a fairly accurate thermometer apparently the car was blowing around 7c, The display was indicating 18c outside...
