As a Welshman i should'nt be supporting England in theory but i always do because if i wait for Wales to even get in to the World Cup, well we all know the answer to that.

Seriously though, England will have to play a hell of a lot better than they did against Peru to get any where, but fingers crossed, i might be Welsh but i also live in the UK so if it's England, Scotland, Ireland, I wont include Wales. ::) I will be supporting them. Argentina v Brazil for the final i predict.  :P

The problem is we don't send a team, we just send a bunch of over hyped over-paid ego's who don't play together. Add to it the hype of, this is 1966 again, over-analysis it just becomes a bore.

Add to it that Football is worlds richest sport, yet refuses to embrace technology, which would stop diving, pathetic shows of extreme pain at the smallest tackle, makes for a grumpy tunnie  ::)

Rugby, now that's is a ball and grass sport  :y

Not exactly complicated is right. Yet.... We seem to think that if England loose a game the World Cup will be over.

It will still run for another month regardless, and people will still want to watch it if England are involved or not.

So yes, fairly simple to understand, yet....Tunnie is too dim to understand it. ;D

When England is out, the hype finishes here, I did not mention it running for another month after they are out  ::)

All media hype is gone and normality can return!

You didn't mention it true. I never said you did. All media hype? It's been the quietest build up in years. ;D

Now stop blabbing and go back to your over paid untalented job at Sky. A company that massively over charges it customers, cuts programme time by flooding adverts in every twenty minutes, yet makes no decent programmes of its own.

I don't watch Game of Thrones (which is over used throughout Sky/NowTV), I don't watch any of the numerous new home-brew content they made, nor the Sports  ::)

I feel that Gerard also needs to go, he's no longer the forward pushing midfielder and is not dropping back when the our wide players go forward like he should....this results in holes....

I thought the centre halves had a good game against Italy

That and we need to push wide and fast down the flanks more, we did it once against Italy and scored.

YES is the short answer, they get paid per game plus all expenses. I have no idea how much but apparently they donate the match fee to charity.

The only prerequisite for England squad membership ought to be that you must have either been in the Euro '96 squad or have never played professionally...

Pick eleven OOFers at random, and I reckon we could do a more covincing job ::)

From what I heard on the radio, we gave ten minutes reasonable effort... trouble is, the game was 96 minutes long. Should have been 4-0 as well, but Uraguay flagged for ten minutes, (no prizes for guessing which ten minutes btw), and Fatboy Monkey Ears got lucky, having just been bleating about having his position moved left moments before. They should leave him there, useless waste of ballast. Hurrumph :-X

There's an element of truth there IMO. Woy has gone with youth he says. So obviously experience is lost to an extent. But where do you need experience, and where do you need yoof?

I'd suggest experience is important in defence more than anywhere. Perhaps more so down the middle, so centre midfield and central defence.

Wings and wing backs might be described as more youthful positions, so younger players there.

I bet Rio and Terry would of reacted quicker to Gerrards mistaken flick on than the statues that let Suarez beat them. Oh, too late. He's got 2 paces on us already. Bye bye England.

The problem actually starts in schools, where there is a lack of competitive and team sports, hence 10% of children go to public schools but 30% of the English Rugby team is made up from them. The same applies to many other sports, but football is not considered a gentleman's sport, so there is a lack of talented English players.

The players we have got are generally flattered by the foreign players around them when playing in the PL. The FA seem to be quite happy with 50 years of failure and change has got to start at the top. Disappointed with England as I expected them to at least take it to the final group game, before they failed to escape their group.

I think Woy is doing the best he can with the limited talent pool he has got.

When it comes to defending, unfortunately JT's self-destruction made it politically impossible for him to be selected. :(

The only time the FA will seriously try to improve things will be when support for England tails off and they can't fill Wembley, all the time they can, I can't see them worrying about us failing in some far off place every 2 years. :(

Personally, I've given up on England as to me sport is about winning and only for the participants not the spectators is it about the taking part. ::) If enough people do the same then the FA will have to act to restore the money stream.

We had nothing to loose, go all out it should have been & we could not beat a coasting team already through and not wanting to risk any injurys?

They then had the audacity to state on live TV, that they thought they played well and were unlucky?

Glad these idiots are on their way home.  :y
