One slip and he will have plenty of time to contemplate, before the dead cat bounce. ??? :o :o :o

Silly bugger, some poor sod has to scrape him off the ground when that goes pete tong >:(

He obviously has no fear of death..............or just crazy!
-
Brave or fearless? take your pick.
Either way he's not 'wired up' right. ;D

The comments under that story show that nobody thinks it's clever and that they just feel for his mother. The crane driver is probably thinking 'I have to climb up there every day'. ::)
Clearly got too much time on his hands and zero regard for any family feelings. ::)

:o
Would like a go at that :D

We are wired to love adrenaline, no matter how much the modern world protects us. I applaud him, and would dearly love to try something similar. Suspect I'd run out of bottle a fair way from the top though...
If it all goes tits up, he'd have to be incredibly unlucky to hurt anyone other than himself, after all.

And when it all goes tits up, it will be our taxes that pay for his care/housing/nursing for the rest of his life. How exciting!

The cost to care for someone 24/7 is in the region of half a million pounds per year. Funeral costs are minuscule in comparison to that.
Edit: In London, might be slightly less outside the capital.

I haven't read the link, as I'm.... "Not good" with heights. But from what I saw in there before quickly leaving the room, if it does go tits up, he won't need a great deal of care.
A bucket and mop yes, care no.
I prescribe a light sedative for D btw. He's a bit hot under the collar lately. Then later a Brandy and a good woman. So a referral to Dr Opti again ;)
