But I'll give you a clue. Gear change and clutch is now perfect. This is a separate fault.
Anyone guess why she broke down? :y

Ran out of fuel?
-
Nope. Something engine wise has failed...
-
Fuel pump or chain :-\
-
Hm.. throttle pedal? Or injection pump as Al says..
BTW what colour is the car? I can't tell if it's that slightly unusual blue or green reflecting the sky.. but it looks quite nice.

Fuel pump or chain :-\

Chain suggestion isn't a slur on the previous owner btw :y simply the law of sod... ie that's the sort of shit that happens to me ::)

Prop fell off :-\

Ermmmm....it's an omega and, therefore, breaks down regularly. :y
-
Oh dear :'(
I'm guessing fuel pump as the other major failure point on these is crank pulley and that was replaced with a genuine one about 9 months ago. Crank sensor wouldn't stop you limping it home so doubt it's that.

The honeymoon period with your Daewoo will soon be over. You mark my words. ;D ;D
-
hbv? or some type of cooling problem
-
Two last clues, I will reveal later if no correct guesses!
1 it's not chain or pump
2 to get to the offending item I have just removed,
AC compressor
PAS pump
Dipstick tube (what a pig)
And the large bracket which secures all the above....
-
Oil pump failed
-
Oil Cooler
Engine mount
-
clutch slave failed.?

Thread to come in General help (a more serious one which will reveal all) :y
