Just got back from Spain and while i was there i hired a smart car for a laff for two weeks, just wondered why they named it the "smart" car ? Apart from being able to park it nose into the pavement i am lost as for what other smart ideas there are about the car :-/ Gear changes take three weeks, Two bottles ofwater fill the boot and there are more blind spots than a man posses with a white stick!!!
Anybody got any ideas why it was named the "smart" car ;D

Well, if I came to the realisation that I had spent 7 grand on a glorified golf cart I'd smart a bit. ;D

I see one of these on the back of a low loader yesterday near Brentwood on the A12, didn't look too smart from where I was - back end was in the front end, looked pretty messy, certainly caused misery for 100's of motorists waiting in line to pass. :'(

if its in a bump..............just bring a dust pan and brush!!

The crucial question you have to ask yourself is "Would a gentleman want to be seen in this vehicle"?
Omega, Yes - Smart Car, No.
End of discussion. :) :) :)
