Title: wishbone nuts/bolts

hi all, got let down by vx milton keynes,ordered new bolts for wishbones getting fitted saturday,now they say could be a few days as on back order. anyone close by that have a spare set new ones?

Take the old ones to any fastner supplier think they are m14 cant remember the length. Or go to VX and ask them for the size, will cost,pennies :)

No, you can reuse the old ones, no problem at all. There not tightened to the point of yield

Never replaced a wishbone bolt, it's unnecessary. Yes I know vx say to replace them.
If you use the search facility you'll find all the old posts.
Do replace the pinch bolts on the hub though, if they come with wishbones like lemforders do.

Neither have I. They're quite chunky and don't appear to suffer any ill effects from being under the car.  :y

thanks for all, will find out i guess on saturday,but hopefully all ok, have wishbones ready to go in with their new poly bushes. :y

I'm sure your aware but, makes sure they tighten the front bolts wheels loaded/suspension at the usual ride height

I have a spare one you are welcome to ....  all you have to do is fish it out of the subframe/chassis rail hole ...... :(
