Free Vehicle Checks (Vehicle Details and Tax Status) have been available on the Gov website, Insurance on the AskMID site, checking for MOT Status has always been a bit of a pain without the Current V5 or the Latest Mot Cert.
The New Gov Beta site now gives you Vehicle details, Tax and MOT status/ expeiry with just the Vehicle Reg. :y
Handy if you forgotten your MOT expiry or are looking at another Car with a Lost Mot Cert brfore setting off. ;)

Yep, works for me too..
Which reminds me the tax is due on the BMW at the end of the month and the reminder hasn't turned up in the post yet.

The best way to check if it's accurate is to get Opti to check each of his fleet.

Fleet.......You mean a ten year old Corsa and a ten year old Omega. :( :(
Website works for the Omega. I'll check out the Corsa now. :y
Sorry.....both of my fleet are now eleven years old (2003). :'( :'(

I used to write 'Tax in post' on a piece of paper, and then put it in the tax disc holder.
Worked well enough in the seventies. ;D ;D ;)
