Staff at a nursing home, stopped a 89 year old D-Day veteran from going to the commemorations in France. So he put his medals on under his coat and told them he was going shopping in the local town and caught a ferry to France instead. :y :y :y

Police got involved when the nursing home staff reported him missing. Enquiries found him at a hotel in Ouistreham. ;D ;D ;D
