Must have been one of those new fangled cvt thingies ;D

They should have added an extra message at the end of that filem....
"Now turn your bloody phone off! The film is about to start!" ::)

Given that the whole audience was stunned into silence, I don't think that would be an issue ;D

They do that anyway, don't they? Not in those exact words.....

I haven't been to the flicks for a while, but I don't remember there being any trouble with mobile phones during 'A hard days night'.

I don't know when, but around here the message has changed to "Please make sure your phone is in silent mode"
Too hard to get people to untether themselves, even when they're paying £12 to see a film.
Fortunately my local cinema is permanently empty (except school holidays) so there isn't a sea of screens to annoy me - usually only about four people in the cinema ;D

I would make it impossible to receive a signal and then add a big charge for wifi.

It's in Hong Kong. Quite common for folks to go to the cinema for a chat or constantly text friends in those parts. ::)

Well that's ok then. They're only annoying Chinese people.

Something actually funny ? I don't believe it . . . . ::)
Anyway, I've long since given up going to the cinema , the whole experience is just so shite . . . and expensive. Just wait till you can find the DVD in a bargain bucket at the supermarket for a few quid :y Who really needs to see a film as soon as it comes out ? And why ?
