Title: Window Tinting - Surrey or Northants Area
Post by: tunnie on 11 June 2014, 13:29:06
Anyone recommend a place? My 3.2 came with tints, but looking to get the Estate done.

Also any ideas on rough cost?

Yeah I know, I'm not usually a fan, but needs must. Also I do like the 3.2's, really do take the glare out of night driving, the car is cooler too in the sun. Reversing at night is a bugger though!  ;D

This is the 3.2's tints:

Think it would make the Estate look nice.

Not for me, although there is something about your 3.2 that I like. Not sure if tints, or just because its a bloody clean car.

The tints bugger up the autodip function on the mirror though ;D

Plus I think putting the rear blind up makes a statement to the idiot following ::)

Ah, yes I was forgetting. Pointless having a blind and tints. I like my blind. But tints do look nice externally and keep the car cool. :-\

Has a mind of it's own, thinking of putting a standard on in. Not sure.  :-\

Been quoted £170 for all windows on the back of an Estate (behind driver) on a 'Medium' tint, looks one man business but loads of photos on his website, work looks good.

About right price? I've no idea  :-\

Prety good iirc. £190 was best I had last I looked, but local ones where more. For a saloon too.

The finish can be tatty ESP round the rear window of a saloon where it meets the parcel shelf.

No excuse in an estate though, with better access.
