Are the front subframes found on the Omega different between cars with different engines (four-pot / six-pot) or is it just the mounts that are different? Thanks.
-

Perfect. So, common subframes between V6 and four-pots, and mounts the same on 2.0 / 2.2. Nice one.

I dont recall the V6 and 4 pot subframes being exactly the same, the straight six diesel is also certainly different from memory

Aha! The plot thickens...

If someone has the pic from EPC it becomes quite obvious from memory (but its been a few years)

I'm not very good with the EPC .. but that doesn't list a "subframe" but does list a "front axle crossmember asssembly //which looks suspiciously like what I think is the subframe ....
It lists a LOT of different versions !!

Thanks Entwood, thats the part :y
As I thought, removing the supersessions (as they are plug n play) gets:
17 CROSSMEMBER, ASSY., FRONT AXLE 20SE, X20SE, X20XEV, Y22XE, Z22XE Y1000001- 9156600
17 CROSSMEMBER, ASSY., FRONT AXLE X25XE, X30XE R1000001- R1127218 904457056
17 CROSSMEMBER, ASSY., FRONT AXLE X25XE, Y26SE, X30XE, Y32SE Y1000001- 9127270
17 CROSSMEMBER, ASSY., FRONT AXLE X20DTH, Y22DTH Y1000001- 9156602
17 CROSSMEMBER, ASSY., FRONT AXLE X25TD Y1000001- 9156601
17 CROSSMEMBER, ASSY., FRONT AXLE Y25TD 9266156
So a single one for all 4 pot petrols (no surprise as they all use the same block pattern), a single one for all 4 pot diesels (again no surprise as they are a common block pattern), an early and late V6 one (2 in total, intereting as they must have made a change for some reason), a single straight six diesel with dis pump and a single straight six common rail diesel (not available in the Uk)

Thanks guys.
