Over the last week or so I have noticed a little puddle on the drive when pulling off >:( >:(
I just thought it was either rain water or air-con. Came back today and I thought I would have a look.
I now have a small puddle and its coolant. it has dropped the coolant in the header tank by about 1/4". I presume this will be the HBV.

More than likely but check the drain tap on the rad also :y

Meet up soon if you like mate :y

Update and a couple of questions...
Firstly I took the HBV off and it looked liked it was leaking..Question when twisting this about trying to get to the clips would it leak anyway if it was a good one.
second fitted the new one topped up the coolant and ran it for about ten minutes while purping it. I also had the heating set to high and fans on full. car was blowing out cold air and the compressor was running. Question should the compressor be running and why no heat. Also should the air con be dripping lots of water (not coolant not pink).

VACUUM HOSE NOT CONNECTED OR HOSES WRONG WAY ROUND Also should the air con be dripping lots of water (not coolant not pink). PERFECTLY NORMAL
Shouting for clarity :y
Should add, with the interior fan on high, the coolant won't warm up for ages. Assuming temp gauge and thermostat are behaving, take it out for a bit of a blast and try again :y

Cheers al.. So i f%#ked up again >:(

Forgot to ask is it ok to drive it like it is or do i need to strip it again. Also anybody got a pic or drawing of which pipe goes where :(

Not necessarily :y key thing is to ensure that both sides of the climate panel are set to high, as that fully opens the hbv, allowing full flow to the matrix.
Easiest thing is to take it for a run and make sure it's properly warm before guessing :y when you get back, expect to put another inch or so of coolant in, job jobbed :y

Tbh, if anything, you might have got the two hoses on the right upside-down, but they fall pretty readily to place :y
The shouty type was to highlight answers to each question, not have a pop :y

Right i have just been out and checked. vac pipe on ok. Also all pipes correct according to pic so i am i correct in saying it just needs a good run..

Cheers Al. I will give it a run in the morning. :y
