Speed would be what I failed on .............. no problems elsewhere though ::)

Had to take a test for my Taxi badge, regular car test, marked to HGV/PSV standards, passed first time... since then Class 2, passed first time, and Class 1, passed second time, (but only because I screwed the last three feet of the reversing exercise :-[ )
Be fair to say that I can drive properly... when required :-X

I'm sure the test is much more stringent these days. So given the updated training, in a manual car with a non Edwardian box and sensible pedal travel, yes, no problem.

Big Jessie ;D
Taxi test was taken in my first Omega, truck tests both taken in a, then, 12 year old Volvo...

It's not that. Just that I couldn't be bothered to change gear in a manual omega. Probably leave it in third. So I'd fail on hill starts and rag it on a motorway like a right numpty. ;D

H "So, what did you fail on again"
CG "Not much..."
H "Must have been summat pretty bad..."
CG " Only one thing, alot... Inappropriate use of gears"
;D
