Good news I guess, not that there's much news beyond his being out of hospital :-\

Probably not TBH ... if he has brain damage that leaves him unable to live any sort of decent life ..... :(

My thoughts being that if he was OK .. or making a "good" recovery, then it would be announced far more publicly ...

I was trying to not sound too positive, hence the 'I guess'... equally, having been out of it for so long, there's undoubtedly a very long way to go before any service is resumed, let alone normal :-\

Quite an effective way of limiting press intrusion as well.

Hopefully he'll make some sort of recovery :y

Life deals some awful hands at times. In this case I feel that it is not a good outcome for him needing constant care for even the basics like feeding and communicating. I hope he improves to have some sort life although compared to his adrenalin life style it will fall far short. :( :( :(
