Title: Steering Wheel Compatibility
Post by: VXL V6 on 19 June 2014, 21:32:58
I appreciate that Vectra B four spoke steering wheels are physically the same as the Omega B steering wheels but are the early Vectra C (Non-CAN with the three buttons either side) physically and electrically compatible?

I appreciate the Airbag will also need to be transplanted as well so the same question applies as well!

I believe Vec-B audio controls are electrically compatible. Not sure if contacter unit is the same, be daft if they are different.

Oooo, would need to look. I'm pretty certain that its not wired directly to radio, but via CIM, in which case, it may be CAN

Both are 3 wires to contacter unit, although the circuit diags look slightly different. Probably doable with your skills.
