Title: Need a tad more help
Post by: Anthony in Madrid on 23 June 2014, 13:41:01
Hi Brothers and Sisters  :y
Wrote a few days ago about possible causes of engine shaking on accelerating and idle.
Didn'yt get too many answers.
Any chance I can get a few more ideas and suggestions to why this is happening?
I'd love your side of the story before I fork out cash on mechanics.
Cheers a bunch

It would have been better to tag this on the end of your earlier post so we knew what the problem was.

Almost certainly a massive missfire problem, usually caused by Oil in plug wells caused by blown cam cover gaskets caused by blocked breathers or just old age.

Or just old plugs, busted ht leads, or a wet damaged or split coil PAC. Although coil PAC usually takes down cylinders in pairs.

When where the plugs last changed?

The plugs were changed about 3 weeks ago and they did have some oil on them. These pics are from yesterday. What do you think? Too much oil in there?

No looks ok now.

Might be worth changing that lead going by your other post.
