Title: No Cup Holders
Post by: D3vil5hift on 24 June 2014, 11:54:24
Is there a reason why the omega has no cup holders? Vectra B's and C's do and I wondered why this is. It doesn't bother me I just find it unusual.

Isn't there one (of sorts) under the arm rest?

Yes there is. Unless the rubber insert is missing on the op's car?

Clip for storage box is often broken. So renders the drinks holder usless really. Never used it myself.

Yea, about as much use as a Tea Bag in a Whirlpool.  ::)

Didn't some Opels have a twin pull out Cup Holders under the Arm Rest, that spilt Hot Stuff all over your legs? or am I thinking of the GM Catera Migs

It always amazed me that the Omega (a rep barge, after all) had no cup holders.. The E46 M3 doesn't either (unless you buy the insert thing), yet my two seater convertible MR2 had three cup holders.. ;D

Used stick-on Velcro to fix mine. Took seconds to do.

Renders the cup holder usable again.

The catara part is for the pre face lift.

There was a member who fitted a Vw twin cup holder under the arm rest for the face lift.

Although it looks a bit wide, and the cup holder is designed to sit at an angle.
