If you stand on the bridge near your junction on the M40, at about 3 o'clock, I'll wave to you ;)

Due to the stupid "lets get a bunch of overpaid poofters to drive around fast, but not overtake" event, I will be a hermit for the day. Well, once the race starts, I may nip to Tesco for some fuel.

So I'll give you a virtual wave ;D

Where you sailing from?

I hope world's terrorists blow the thing up. Run by lying, cheating breakless retards.

I would rather cut off my testicles, fry them, and eat them than give Le Shuttle 1p for a trip.

I used to use it all the time. You wait until *they* cock it up, and *you* have to pay for a new ticket then and there (and at their "special" inflated rates)

You obviously didnt rant and rave enough at their customer services mob on the phone.....

Went a few years ago with a mate....when they were advertising an £18 (iirc) deal
Got there and they wanted circa £100 for the ticket...apparently in the small print it said you had to book so many days in advance to get the deal.....but who reads the small print!
Their ticket office wouldnt do anything about it, apart from give us the number for customer services. My mate phoned them and after about 10 mins of ranting and raving at them....they did the ticket at £18  ;D :y

Went a fair way up their chain, even wrote to the idiot in charge. Each one stonewalled me.

But you paid.... understandably ....obviously probably because you would miss out on your hols......we were just on a day out 'booze cruise' .... and iirc my mate even threatened them with us driving the extra miles to Dover and getting a ferry....carnt remember if that did the trick....but he is a business man....that likes a good argument...and one you carnt win with him   ;D

Yep. We had that too.

"Oh, but you didn't use the outward part of the ticket".
"No, because the power lines had come down in the tunnel. Af***inggain"
"Well, you should have validated the ticket at the terminal in London"
"Would that be the one that the Police had closed because it was overrun with irate wannabe customers?"
"Well, we can't do anything with this booking because it has an English reference"
"Is the tunnel English or French?"
"Neither... er..  Both"
etc.. >:(

On the way back to Caen, yesterday, the temperature reached 34 deg. Thank goodness we were travelling, and thank goodness for decent air conditioning in the car.

When we arrived at the port, about 9 p.m., it was like stepping out into an oven.
