I've got an irational love of the smiley front Transit, but this one looks cheap :o
I wonder how many vehicles like these exist? Something not classic or rare, but extremely low miles?

Not cheap though........... :-\ :-\

Hmmm the only picture of the back is taken through the side door and the ply flooring looks well used. :-\

It certainly seems to have been used for all those miles, and as for never having been clocked, that could be clocked before the kettle boils ::)

Or a nice £5k Maestro van...

Something sus about the paintwork on passenger side wing and door, and a ding on the real panel, looks like it was Ziebarted when new, evidence in the rear pictures, quite rare I would say............. :-\ :-\

I actually have fond memories of the smiley transits we used to have at uni. All red like that one, but pinto engined petrol.
One year I volunteered to do "collecting the freshers from the railway station" detail. I recall the words of one american girl probably in her first few hours on UK soil. "Do you all drive like this over here?". ;D

OK what have I missed?................... ::) ::) :P

I just don't get these "barn finds" that turn up.
The person that owned this, didn't they or anyone else say " what is that red transit over there doing?". Did they keep it covered ? Under cover? maybe it belonged to a big company with poor management

Transit ah!
The van that rusts fast than any other van ;D ;D ;D :D
Hopefully now there not built by the Solent they may be better but, own one yourself??
-
If that's were i think it is, the people selling that deal a lot in tarmacing drives, cutting down leylandi trees and plastic guttering. They also sell pickups. Think its near the ford garage on the A5.

Can't vouch for the new ones, but the Turkish built Tourneos are shockingly shit...

You can get all sorts of things on Craigslist. I'd imagine most of them itch like hell. ::)
