Post by: drinksoptional on 11 July 2014, 12:36:41
I have a leak well the omega not me , i can see oil around the switch and anywhere i park  so it migh not be the only one .    I will be doing an oil/filter  change  so  want to do switch while i am under there, is this a sump off job to remove the switch and anything i should note?
I had a look on forum and could not see a  post  i may have missed it so sorry if this is repeat question

Yes, lower sump pan off ...... 30 thousand M6 set screws .... to get to the level switch which is fasted to the pan you've just removed. Be careful with it as the wiring becomes brittle & might snap at a soldered joint - like mine.  ;)

I would image it's a Vauxhall only part. I re-soldered mine & it was OK to re-use  :y
