Driving up the road at speed (oddly enough, approaching Entwood driving as slow as possible with what looked like a kebab van), when suddenly a loud buzzing starts. Dropped it to below 70mph, and it mostly went away, but did come back, and ended up doing the last 5 miles at 55mph.
What happened?
(All sorted now, BTW).
-
Wheel arch liner fallen/ing off and buzzing against the tyre?

A huge wasp flew in ;D

Well, I guess that could explain the blood when I sat on the potty when I got home, but I'd put that down to Tim making another unwelcome appearance.
-
Tim? I .. almost don't want to ask..

Screw came loose

And the winner is... ...henryd :y
My initial thoughts were bumper dropped or wheelarch liner went, but quickly dismissed as noise went when going slower. Then something rammed in the fans, dismissed for same reason. Wipers were OK (I've had a similar noise before when those aero style blades have broken), dismissing those, so I did the last 5 miles assuming it was the undertray buzzing in the wind.
Got home, looked under, all good. Then I noticed the screen trim ;D
-
Thanks :y

I'm not sure your wiper would have the strength to put up much of a fight against a fan blade... ...looks like its lost the battle with the sheet of glass its supposed to clean ;D
-
Funnily enough the 'Thanks' was for reminding me that my rear wiper is past its best, only discovered after arriving home, having been into Helfrods earlier ::)

No, no, no. Remember, you are a changed man now. A model car driver (as far as the do-gooders are concerned).
