How was the "training" today?

 ;D ;D  Cheers for that.  ;D

I was waiting for that, but naively thought it might have been tucked away discreetly in another thread.  ;D  ;D

Fair play to the guys, they were really easy going and you didn't feel like you were being patronised, unlike some have experienced.  :y

I'm a new man now, but must admit to pressing on to get there in time.  ;)  I even had to let someone in a far inferior car overtake me on the journey home.  ::)

Now the truth:
I feel like a caged animal not being able to put my foot down.  ;D ;D

As a side note, there weren't any cameras along that stretch of road yesterday were there?  :-\

If there were, will you give me a lift when we both have to go to be told that speed kills?

I have a "training day" eg speed awareness on 28th of this month. Apparently north wales mobile speed cameras, don't like 35 in a 30. So i will be sat nicely while an ex traffic cop or driving instructor, tells me how, speed kills ( no it doesn't) its the stopping that kills.

"biggriffin", I thought the threshold was the limit, plus 10%, plus 2mph? That sets it at 35mph for a posted limit of 30mph, so surely no NIP for you?

Ron.

Strangely, some forces honour that and some don't. :-\  A guy I work with showed me his NIP and it was for 34mph. He thought that was bad but a chap on his course was given a NIP for 32mph.  :o :o
Until then I always thought it was 10% plus 2mph.  :-\

The pepipoo website said it was unheard of to be done under 35mph.  :-\

Funnily enough that's what he did say to us.  :y  I had mine in Milton Keynes and in fairness to the guys they never made us feel chastised in any way. They took a fair approach to the course to get their point across without patronising us.  :y
