To buggar off back to bricks and mortar ::)
Back in Swindon now.....after a 3 hour drive in Friday afternoon traffic. :(
Was booked into campsite in Dorset until Sunday.....
Last Monday very strong winds (20mph) , tented stayed upright with extra guy ropes in place :y
It was ok weather wise since.....until last night....Im sitting there about 6pm in glorious sunshine (25c) and looking at weather app telling me it will be pishing down at 8pm.....nah... it carnt!
Oh yes it did.....clouds started rolling in about 7pm and by 8pm it was pishing down......so dark by 8.30pm i had to have the light on in the tent. Quite a good lightening show during the night too....
This morning and during the day it was overcast and temp around 20C.....weather app said tonight heavy rain again tonight and during the day tomorrow.....so based on it was right last night decided to come home early.....as i had the advantage of letting the tent dry out thoroughly....before taking it down....left the pitch about 3pm this afternoon (take my time as id paid for tonight and sat night)
Got back to Swindon .... tad different to Dorset.....25c and sunny ::) tho its supposed to be heavy rain here tonight as well......but i dont care now :)

That's british summertime for ya! :(
I was at Haggerston Castle in a static caravan last week, fortunately the weather was glorious all week save for 2 hrs on the Tuesday morning.

Piddled down last night and it's very dull here at the moment with thunder rumbling around. Heavy rain is imminent I think! ;)
